One morning it occurred to me that the foodhealing project presents me with a unique opportunity, an opportunity to curate a nutrition conference with presentations from the most esteemed educators without any financial or logistical barriers. This is something unique to this project and personally exciting for me. So, here it is – my curation of a mock virtual nutrition conference.
Each of the carefully selected educators has an important message to share. I hope you enjoy their presentations.

Natasha Campbell-McBride is a Neuroscientist, Neurosurgeon and Nutritionist who used food for healing her son from Autism. Campbell-McBride is very dedicated to her cause which reflects in both her professional and personal life. Campbell-McBride has written the GAPS protocol – “Gut And Psychology Syndrome.”

Terry Wahls is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She has made it her mission to spread the word about The Wahls Protocol through the book, her lectures, her website, and Food as Medicine classes. Wahls was diagnosed with a chronic progressive neurological disorder and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis which she has recovered from by means of nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Jason Fung is a nephrologist and functional medicine advocate who promotes a low-carbohydrate high-fat diet and intermittent fasting. Fung is a world-leading expert on intermittent fasting and low carb, especially for treating people with type 2 diabetes. He has written three best-selling books and he co-founded the Intensive Dietary Management program.

Alisa Vitti is an expert in functional nutrition and women’s hormones, as well as the founder of FLO Living, a modern hormone healthcare company. She is also a bestselling author, with WomanCode and In the FLO, and the creator of MyFLO a cycle tracking app. Vitti holds degrees from both Johns Hopkins University and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
